This looks like it will be a lot of fun, but what's up with having to send a picture of the band? Are they going to be judged on appearance too?

I would love to put a decent song together (like it's that easy) and submit it with a picture of some "fashion-ad looking 20-somethings" and see what happens. That would be hilarious if it won and they had to make a video of a bunch of overweight (just slightly now) balding (OK a little bit more than slightly) 40 year olds. I mean what could they do? The song won the contest.

OK, back to reality now............ :D

Heh, send them a photo of your equipment and write in "insert photo here" where the band members should be.

The guys from The Alarm did that shit not too long ago and it worked a little bit for them. I'm old, so I can't remember exactly everything that went down to share with you a full story

Where's the great insight and credible offerings of Sam B. on this subject? Did you guys foget to bring the guy over that has answer for everything in regards to the music scene who doesn't play in a band and if he has Rock N Roll was just getting started? :)

He was here, created an account (or someone created and account called SamB) - but sadly, whoever did so deleted it.

I'm guessing Sam just wanted to see what's going on, which is a good thing - he rarely has anything valuable to input.
